The Bahay ng Diyos Foundation, Inc. is a Filipino and Catholic organization duly registered with the Philippines’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a non-stock, non-profit NGO, and is certified by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) as a legitimate ‘donee’ institution. Moreover, the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) has granted the Foundation its ‘Seal of Good Housekeeping‘ for the good practice of professionalism, accountability, and transparency. Finally, in 2014, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) recognized the work of the Foundation as contributing to heritage conservation by helping preserve heritage churches in the Philippines.
The Foundation is led by a Board of Trustees composed of lay persons who are distinguished in their careers and in their dedication to serve the Church. Our Founder and President, Mrs. Noemi Lirag Saludo, 81, a business leader, church-builder and, recently, organic farmer. She was a stalwart of Philippine business, being the only woman president of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2004, the current chairperson emeritus of the Port Users Confederation, and among New Jersey’s Georgian Court University’s distinguished alumnae, the only Asian so honored.
