“Awit sa Diyos New Mass Hymns Competition” is a search for the Philippines’ best new liturgical songs. The Competition is open to amateur and professional Catholic songwriters. With the creation of songs, contestants will share their talents with the Roman Catholic community and demonstrate that liturgical music is an integral part of our celebrations and worship.
“Awit sa Diyos” is a fundraising competition organized by Bahay ng Diyos Foundation Inc., a Catholic organization founded in 2006, to help rebuild, renovate, refurbish, or repair dilapidated churches throughout the country.
Finalist entries are recorded and marketed for commercial sale, and the proceeds go to Bahay ng Diyos Foundation to support its various church construction and rehabilitation projects, including its ongoing “Handog Kapilya” program.
