The new Archbishop of Lipa, the Most Reverend Gilbert A. Garcera, D.D. went to the Hardin ng Dalangin Center for Spirituality and Enrichment last August 13 and celebrated the Holy Eucharist with the local community of San Benito in Lipa City, Batangas. He also had a meet-and-greet with members of lay organizations of the San Isidro de Lipa Parish, led by their parish priest, Rev. Fr. Hermie Rodelas, and included the Legion of Mary, Block Rosary Movement, Barangay Liturgical Commission, Divine Mercy devotees, and Samahan ni San Jose, among others.

 

 

 

The event was organized by the Bahay ng Diyos Foundation, Inc. as a welcome gesture for the new Lipa archbishop and to show him around the facilities of the Center, which is envisioned to become an important catechetical, pastoral, and liturgical haven for the Archdiocese.

 

 

 

Archbishop Garcera is also the new Adviser for Southern Luzon of the Bahay ng Diyos Foundation, Inc.. As such, he would review and endorse funding requests for church construction/renovation/conservation coming from the Archdiocese of Lipa, the Diocese of Imus, the Diocese of San Pablo, the Diocese of Lucena. and the Diocese of Gumaca.
